One address for everything: corrections, privacy requests under the GDPR, legal notices, press enquiries and advertising questions. We aim to acknowledge within five working days, and we answer data protection requests within the one-month period set by Article 12(3) GDPR.

Why there is no contact form
A contact form would have to collect and transmit what you typed, which means processing your personal data on this website and adding a third-party endpoint or a server-side script. We have promised in the cookie policy that this site collects nothing at all, and we would rather keep that promise exactly than weaken it for convenience. Your email client already does the job, and it leaves you holding a copy of what you sent.
What to write about
- A factual error. Please include the page address and a source if you have one. The corrections procedure sets out what happens next, step by step.
- A data protection request. Access, erasure, objection and the rest. Please read the privacy policy first — in particular the note explaining that because we hold no identifier for you, we often genuinely cannot locate any data relating to you.
- A legal notice or takedown request. Please identify the content precisely and state the legal basis.
- An advertising enquiry. Note that we do not sell sponsored articles, placements in rankings, or editorial coverage. See the list of things we refuse to do before writing.
We cannot help with your device. We are a publisher, not a support desk, and we have no access to any product mentioned on this site. If you have a problem with a subscription you bought, contact that vendor directly — they are the seller and your counterparty, not us.
We will never telephone you. We have no telephone support and we do not make outbound calls. Anyone who calls claiming to be from this site, or claiming that we detected a problem on your computer, is running a scam. Hang up.
